Apparently the fleeces at Fontwell blew away - has anybody there got a brain cell to work out that you have to weigh fleeces down.

Some wise Clown put sheets down at Chepstow a few years back, then it rained and couldn´t lift the sheets on raceday!!!!

But, are you sure about that?

Definitely,  at least a couple of Saturdays lost in more recent years...

Was it snow, instead?

Onlooker,they lost their saturday meeting in december 2008 to water waterlogging, and the cross country chase in december 2010 to frost,(couldn't cover the middle of the course)no other losses to my knowledge.

Just put some some beefburgers in the freezer, put a frost cover over the top, will let you know what happens after 12 hours
