£1000 worth and then win a £200 you are £800 down but you could have still paid
commission from £4 to £10. EXcuse my 1st part of the post this dammed computer sometimes has a mind of its own. Good luck today.  |

couple of points.
commission yes BUT it is more than covered by superior prices and ability to trade - right up to the line and even after! norma - sorry - your blunderbuss approach leaves me cold. stick a pin in a few favourites it seems. why not become a sniper - single out 1 or 2 juicy targets WITH RATIONALE. you are getting away with murder. |

Yes, the approach is not to everyones taste, and the criticism usually comes when the profits are on the way down, not on the way up. I have posted my lays with some good success elsewhere, and still do. This time I seem to be making harder work of it.  |

Yes, I have read the thread - how else would I know your
accounting methods & what all the selections were? Several people have pointed out to you that using ISP & not deducting commission gives a false acounting result. Do you actually lay these horses yourself? |

You post your lays up early in the day, you cannot
lay them at ISP. Nobody knows what the ISP is until after the off - it IS possible to put in a lay at BSP. I ask the question again - do you personally lay these horses? You seemed to lack an understanding of how Betfair Commission works earlier today, which suggests to me that you aren't a Betfair layer/backer. |

I have never said that I layed at isp, and I do lay these selections. Earlier today I replied to eck saying that commission was to be paid on any profit. I suggest you go back and read the thread sir Your very first post on this thread was wrong, yet you claim the moral high ground. |

What price you are actually laying at is immaterial,
since your profit claims are to ISP (without commission). I've made my point, & see no point in continuing this discussion, since it is clear we both have our own firmly entrenched views, & I have other things to do. If you are laying these, then good luck to you in the future, but I would point out again, that BACKING all these selections to WIN at BSP is yielding a reasonable level stakes profit after commission. |
