Historical in-play stat's

Blimey if it's that far out what's the point of the data?
I think the stats only show when a pound has been matched though.
Figures next to the graph after a race show the pennies matched too.

I've had £20 matched at 16 in-play and Timeform only shows 11 (and several other similar examples), so its nothing to do with only pennies being matched.

When I raised it with Betfair they were well aware of the issue - apparently it affects the low prices too.  The guy I spoke to cited several examples off the top of his head, so it obviously happens a lot.  I've personally noticed multiple examples a day, but it could be every race for all I know.

I looked at Fracsoft, but how can we be sure they don't use the same data feed as Timeform ?

Not a problem.  Feel free to check it yourself if you're not sure - it shouldn't take too long to find a few good examples.

If I were a cynical kind of chap I would say that the skewed data makes certain betting strategies appear profitable on paper, thus encouraging people to gamble.  However, in the real world these advantages never actually materialise.

Hmmm. Betfair are very much sharper in taking the graphs down after the race nowadays
too.

I've always presumed this is the same value on Timeform - but I may well be wrong.

The one at the top of @MartinK's post is the same data as Timeform use, or you can get it manually per-race from the Timeform site.

You are not wrong.  The numbers on the BF SP CSVs are the same as published on TF, in my experience.

That BFSP data is a mess at times.
Never mind the accuracy its got at least 2% failure of market data, some years are especially bad and has all sorts of cr4p thrown in like AvB etc
