Dennis O'Regan even more of a shocking ride, kicked for home far too soon on Giles Cross, the mug! 
I marked Le Beau Bai as a complete non stayer. wd connections 
Mattie just said Carruthers wasn't right today. Nowt to do with the ride.

Giles cross was given an exellent ride simply outstayed towards the finish.
Tough race at Newbury , never had a prayer today , layers dream .
Carruthers couldn't dominate so sulked, easy to explain. Agree that O'Regan went too early.
No wonder they have 7 horse in the yard!

O'Regan went to early? I thought it was one of the rides of the Season.
The horse likes to lead, he couldn't today, the horse didn't like it and was pushed along after about 2 fences. Nothing wrong, horse just couldn't dominate or race in a share of the lead.
How could it be a ride of the season, he got beat? I'm not going to crab the ride too much but I bet if he could ride the last mile again, he'd rein in a bit before going on. The winner is a relentless galloper, so a demanding finish was going to suit him. Giles Cross was only beaten about 2-3l in the end.

Big Carruthers fan, but was very disappointed with the ride today.
Kept jumping into the back of horses.
Another horse fell a fair way in front of it down the back and Batchelor did nothing to avoid being hampered.
Worst of all, sticking so tight to the inside rail rode into it on the very tight bend on the first turn,
just 100yds after the start.
Horse lost it's rhythm totally and the mistakes then knocked on
Staggeringly, he did exactly the same at the same spot on the beginning of the 2nd circuit.
Even Fitzy told him to get off the inside.
