5 isnt a lot

If they were level with a week to go, racing would be the only winner.

Fallon must be seething after what he said about SDS and the whip - suggesting he could be the most disadvantaged by the new rules - another fantastic ride by SDS on that Goldolphin filly this afternoon.
By:
De Sousa is one of the strongest, the less the whip is used, the more he'll win.
By:
as Kevin Keegan once said "I am loving it!!"
By:
Come on SDS!
By:
If he can win it this will be a triumph over all the Stewards who banned him for "nothing" many times .... come on SDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
By:

Is SDS banned on Monday? And how many days will he miss when riding Fox Hunt in the MC?
By:
the stewards always help hanagan by banning whoever is chasing him in the jockeys title race.
By:
agree outpost, hughes seemed to pick up a multitude of bans last season whereas the secret of hanagan's success seems to be him avoiding the suspensions, the northern stewards certainly didn't do nim any harm last season, there was an incident in the heat of the title race last year (think it was at redcar) which they turned a blind eye to.
By:
OMG ! someone else has noticed !!
Hughes was robbed. as for this year ... well, I don't want to get myself in trouble by saying what I think ![]() |

Is De sousa going to Australia ?
By:
Yes, but he's banned Monday anyway.
By:
So what is SDS's last day riding here then?
By:
He's not just closing the gap, he's doing it quickly.
Nice to be discussing something other than the whip. |
By:
When will he get back ?
By:
Rides at Newmarket Saturday afternoon, flies out of Heathrow Saturday night, no flat racing here on Sunday, banned Monday, Aussie Tuesday and back here for Wednesday racing.
By:
Back on Tuesday
By:
Presume he'll be back for Wednesday.
By:
Should he stay ?,he`s gonna miss kempton or redcar on tues !
By:
Of course he should stay if he wants to be champion, but the Melbourne Cup would probably net him about 1/2 million!
By:
Duanden, Christophe L'emaire, my choice for the Melbourne Cup.
By:
Haggas giving Hanagan some rides tomorrow ahead of De Sousa who has ridden winner for him this season?
By:
Why has SDS drifted is it purely based on his aussie trip?
By:
If he goes to Australia i think he`ll lose out, if he stays he`d be champion jockey !
By:
All 3 in the title race have ridden winners for Haggas this season with SDS having had by far the fewest rides, so I wouldn't really read too much into that.
Hanagan - 10 from 28, SDS - 2 from 6 and Fallon 5 from 32. |
By:
i believe a lot of people are over estimating sds chances. sds is 4 behind. both he and hanagan dont have stand out rides today, sds will miss sat night at wolverhampton, monday and tuesday and will be back riding on the 2nd. that leaves him just 4 days to overhaul hanagans lead.
