Bit arly for his demise ,no pace and to my eyes he looked a bit burly,may never reach the heights of previous seasons but still got plenty to give.

wud masterminded get placed in ny race at the festival now, wudnt get within 50 lengths of sizing big zeb, this horse is finished as far as the festival goes

horse has done this before
trying to give 10 pounds to a multiple grade 1 winner at Aintree

His tendency to jump out to the right was very marked today, and as mentioned above you'd expect him to come on for the run.  If I were PFN I'd still be tempted to try the King George.  Right-handed track, level weights, fitter for today's race.

denman is clearly very upset as he's just done his conkers (2 quid) on Master minded,go have a lie down and come back an give an opinion when you have calmed down

It's like the story of the Emperors New Clothes with this horse, imo - no one ever wants to accept that his form is vastly over rated...

I agree with millhouse. Judged for some reason as a super horse on one visually impressive performance which was not that great on paper.

owner said this race was a after thought,not what you would want to hear for a 2-5 shot.

Millhouse he may very well be over rated,but he's quite clearly still a very good horse

Totally on the snaff, but I don't buy the way that QM, on horrible ground, has been rated for one minute - and he's never repeated anything like it since, imo...

14/23 over a million pounds in prizemoney - not sure he has much to prove and 'd say he ran about two stone below his mark there.
