If the BHA do not back track and accept what the jockey's have suggested is fair for the new whip rule then jockey's owners, trainers and punters all need to go on strike and stay on strike unto the BHA accept their proposals in full. The BHA are destroying horse racing with their ridiculous new rules and i cannot see jockeys continue to be in love with their profesion when they are banned and denied of their earnings.horse racing is one of the most dangerous sports on earth and no other sport has an ambulance following their every move yet the BHA are with-holding these guys wages for a crack of a whip

Hughes & Soumillon both got banned for one crack of the whip over the limit and their livliy hood taken away from them.

1st time poster -- are you not some clown who is infesting the web looking to trash all comments which are against the BHA view? because you have interest in horse racing whatsoever

FFS you make it sound as though they were banned indefinitely. Both jockeys received fines and bans. Subsequent to this, Hughes voluntarily gave up his livelihood.

He is good with his hands you see. Heard he also dresses in his mums heels. Expects everyone else to be same.

my friend has a horse called Ella Woodcock trained by Eric Alston and it cannot win a horse race other than hands and heels races because it does not like the crack of the whip he also has a horse Paul Kristian with Willie Mullins who will not travel in his races unless he gets a couple of slaps of the whip.. whips need to be the tool jockeys can resort too to get the very best out of their horse too deny this point is kidding yourself

Just had a look at Ela Woodcock's last 10 runs and none have been in hands and heels races. Has anyone told Alston do you think?
Report sonnyboyx22 • October 20, 2011 8:11 PM BST
yes Alston knows the score with Ella and the last 2 races she won was hands and heals
Report Gerry Gallbladder • October 20, 2011 8:19 PM BST
Cheers sonnyboyx. I guess the Sportinglife results page must be wrong as it shows that the last time Ella Woodcock won (Feb 2010 Wolv) it was ridden by S. W. Kelly in a class 5 handicap. Either that or you're spouting b0ll0x.

Just had a look at Paul Kristian's form too. You say this horse will not travel in his races unless he gets a couple of slaps. The close up for the horse's last run from the S/L suggests otherwise......

tracked leaders, went 2nd 4f out, travelling well in close 2nd 2f out, led 1f out, stayed on well, easily opened 4/6 touched 4/6

Ella Woodcock and Paul Kristian do have the same owner though so what you said is not completely b0ll0x.
