Wake me up when he has finished 'analysing' the result of that race, please.

He could have trouble spitting out the words - in anything like acontinuous cohesive order ... if he only had to describe two flies crawling up a wall.

"If you're watching Kevin Darley, Bob Crow you ain't."
Enjoyable stuff imo.

Have to admit, I missed that part of the broadcastSad - so fair play to him.

No doubt he is back home now, enjoying his glass, or two, of Talisker - which formed a predominant part of his final race summary.

That Talisker was obviously at the forefront of his mind.Blush

I think Yates said that he spoke to Darley one day at Sandown and offered to put in the Mirror any concerns he had about the new rules. I got the impression Yates wasn't too impressed by the response he got.

From what has been described by Ryan Moore, the BHA presented Darley with a fait accompli just 1 hour before the new rules were released and never involved the PJA in any constructive development of the rules or asked for their opinion about what they were going to implement.

Dave suggested that Darley should have been hammering on the BHA's door every week since they announced they were going to make changes to the whip rules demanding to see what progress was being made and what was being planned.

And that the BHA have been grossly negligent in the process of producing the new rules and putting them into place with no trial or effective testing.
