As frustrating as it must be for the backers (having said that could have traded out at low odds) it's only hindsight which says he should have gone past earlier. I suspect the horse would have idled and lost in any case as basically soon as hit front that's what happened.

Ruby jumped to the front about 4 out but had to pull him back because the he knows the horse has absolutely NOTHING to give when he hits the front! Avoid like the plague.

can i make a suggestion that we dont waste time with topics like this, ruby is a top class jockey, he ride for the best two stables in england/ireland in nichols/mullins, we dont need idiots like you saying hes a poor rider when its clear he is a class act, proberly the best horesman ever, hes top jockey at the festival every year say no more! u prat

Nicholls has a terrible record with handicapper's at Cheltenham. His horses are hammered by the handicapper. I sense the horses are not quite as wound up at the start of the season as they used to be when taking these races in late October early November by storm. it seems to have been a gradual ease back over the last few years. Who can blame him? Were that a 30k race who would you want to be on? As for Walsh been a poor jockey. That is laughable one of the greatest ever. The market offering 4/5 told you all you needed to know.
