Classic case of a horse finding very little off the bridle after pulling far too hard early doors , the in-play market told you that & swop jockeys around gives the same result

You don't think the horse pulling like a mustang for 2 circuits had anything to do with the result

By:
The horse needs to learn how to settle.

As frustrating as it must be for the backers (having said that could have traded out at low odds) it's only hindsight which says he should have gone past earlier. I suspect the horse would have idled and lost in any case as basically soon as hit front that's what happened.

Ruby jumped to the front about 4 out but had to pull him back because the he knows the horse has absolutely NOTHING to give when he hits the front! Avoid like the plague.

Nicholls has a terrible record with handicapper's at Cheltenham. His horses are hammered by the handicapper. I sense the horses are not quite as wound up at the start of the season as they used to be when taking these races in late October early November by storm. it seems to have been a gradual ease back over the last few years. Who can blame him? Were that a 30k race who would you want to be on?
As for Walsh been a poor jockey. That is laughable one of the greatest ever. The market offering 4/5 told you all you needed to know. |

That reminds me,i must look back at what was said about his ride on Toubab on saturday.
