to take some cash out of an on line account. First of all they couldn't process it without phoning customer services....because of system / card problems (no apology)
But to compound things the shop manager sat there with her "sorry this desk is busy" sign up the whole time whilst she did god knows what.
This was at 1pm and the cashier had to talk to customer services whilst taking several last minute dog and virtual bets for at least 15 minutes whilst I was kept waiting. I had to stand back and let these guys on but I was close to telling them all to fo. I was absolutely fuming.
What has happened to customer service and the standard of betting shop managers? This is no customer service any more anywhere and nobody gives a monkeys.
i use them as well to withdraw cash but the most annoying thing is that they never have the money available. they always ask me to come back or sometimes even say they simply wont pay it out.
they shouldnt offer the facility if they cant pay bets out.
the reason u use them is withdrawing online takes 3 days to come back to your bank and also cash withdrawals and deposits via your card dont show on your bank statment!!

spot on Siralex. It's a facility that makes good PR, but in reality none of the staff know how to do it, they don't like doing it, and they make it has hard as possible to do it in every single way (we're not supposed to expect a bookie to have cash nowadays).
You're supposed to be able to get at least £500 no problem with Laddies I think and more with a quick phone call prior to going.

I found it was often the case that staff would automatically say, " Sorry, the card reading machine's not working."
I tell a lie. I added the "sorry" just to let them seem more polite.
