Liked the first album, and attended 'Sunset Sunday at Spike Island' on the strength of it.

I think I was the only person there not wearing flared trousers, or a beanie hat, or on drugs, or speaking in that ludicrous Madchester slang. A tiresome day in many respects.

Not exactly Matt Hollywood rejoining The Brian Jonestown Massacre if you dig but the Roses could be well interesting if they record anything new.

Hardly any famous groups who reform years after their 'era' go on to make any decent new material. I fear this could be very embarrassing, although profitable.

It was some American DJ bloke. People around me dissolvd into giggles when he shouted 'SHFFIELD' for reasons which remain a mystery .

And we didn't mention the worst acoustics in history on a windy north west estuary! Actually, I did feel part of history at the time. It was our Woodstock.
