Quite frankly this jockey is a disgrace, not fit to lace the boots of Piggott, Eddery, Cauthen and Dettori, in fact its debateable if he is the best riding at present such is his total lack of tactical ability.
His ride on Crystal Capella today was the biggest example of non-trying I have ever seen, a disgrace to professional riding.
I wouldnt employ him as stable jockey to Peter Grayson................ and if Ballydoyle do employ him next year lets all rejoice in the fact they will have an appalling year

crystal capella is a yak, beat nuthin so far. Hammered every time it sticks its hooter into a Gp1.

He is, without doubt, the most over rated jockey in the sports history, tactically inept, and clueless regarding the pace in a race
Tactically poor definitely and overrated but next year when he's riding some of the best animals ever bred he will be a worldwide superjock.Even though on a daily basis he is questionable on many occasions.Gonna be interesting,although he may learn something at Coolmore as others have before.
Ryan Moore is all of the following;
- tactically inept
- lazy
- weak in a finish
- positional sense nil
Crystal Capella is a front ruuner and what does Moore do, take a pull leaving the stalls, I was incredulous watching that. He is a truly awful rider and IMO outside the top 10 europe wide riding today.
