To get value consistently it is flat racing without question,of course there is value in the sticks as well but to find it takes so much longer, plus the downside of more things going wrong.CoolShocked

Thought the race was a bit of a farce, never looked at the sectionals but seems strange that the way the race was run was totally against him yet put them to sleep so easily. The horse is far better than that a turn of foot is not what i think will show him at his best, decent gallop for 4fs and he wins at least double that distance.Visually the wins don't look that great, but to win from no pace like that to me points to the horse being exceptional, you could say queally gave it a good considerate ride i don't agree if he hadn't picked up wouldv'e been another poor ride.Basically i just want to see how quick it can go,for selfish reasons.[:x]

used to be jumps ,but the flat offers a greater challange and the changes of success/against the rewards  are better on the flat.more work, hardeer work ,but sweeter pleaserure,

stop telling everyone how good the 3 day fixture is, the beauty of the thur/fri is not just the standard of racing but how comfortable it is to get about.

I like good quality racing flat and jumps. Can't see how anyone would prefer Kelso or Catterick yesterday to Cheltenham and Ascot. I have had a lot more personal involvement in jumping, having been raised on a farm and attended ptp's from the age of 11 months and owned 6 winning horses all over jumps, but at 67yo, I still feel the same emotion from watching Frankel as I did from Best Mate winning his third Gold Cup.

althought it goes against the grain, flat by a long way for me. You may get over watering during the flat season but god more than makes up for it during the winter.
