You should have known the rules. You broke the rules - end of story unless you want to waste legal fees.

That is what RUK should have told him but of course the rabble rousers didn't instead just encouraging the clown.

Remember the Jockey Club/BHA took a torpedo from the EU courts over trying to claim copyright on UK racecards. Well I think this might just be another one they will suffer a reverse on.

The financial penalty is out of proportion to the offence and on the face of it, would seem to be out of kilter with even a loose notion of natural justice.
