Rider......Most sports people would give the same answer.........your employer pays you and the better you are the more you earn.

I cannot believe so many on here are quite happy to allow a bunch of white collar workers f u ck up our sport.

I should be careful in case you get what you wish for.

racing for tip top prizemoney today and still no bans for murtagh, frankie, moorefallon, mcoy, johnson etc, hughes must be feeling abit of a fool as things stand they are meeting on monday about a bloke who at present is as much a jockey as me and you,he aint got a licience, maybe they,ll turn him down when he reapplies for bringing the game into disrepute or something Laugh

ha obviously he rides for the owners, thats probably down to the fact they pay the bills and punters don't how can you criticise him for that comment. Punters criticise him for every little mistake he makes when riding so obviously he will show some contempt

Always dangerous to let someone who buys his way into something make the final call if he hasn't a clue in the first place.

he may currently be as much of a jockey as me or you but how many of you have actually tried race riding ? so really comments that your making on how hard it is to adjust to theses are riddiculous

[smiley:crazy]they are not only telling him how many times he can hit a horse whilst trying to concentrate on numerous other things but when to do it. How can these people who have never done the job tell horsemen how to do theirs

Smacks of indulgent self promotion.

Would be be "retiring" if he was not banned but someone else was.

I would like to see him interviewed and be asked if he is going to stand by his words. Basically, be put into a corner where he cant come out of unless its with his tail between his legs.

Right or wrong,I admire him for taking a stance about something he feels strongly about.

I do believe he also stated he couldn't do the best for the owners [smiley:crazy] so don't just edit the piece of a quote which suits your argument best

Great racing today,whats the problem?

If he honours his statement and does not return to racing with the existing laws still in place i would admire him.

However, as i suspect he does return with his tail between his legs his statement that he has punters interests at heart will be totally insincere.

Its either hero or zero. No middle ground now that he has brought punters into his argument.

Gonna be a lot of very sad numpties about next week when they change the rules to something more sensible and RH comes back into the fold. Plus they reverse all of the existing penalties.

Oh yes. Looking forward to next week there will definitely be a lot of very sad numpties about.

They know who they are. Ha ha.
