At the real lack of ambition showed by Hanagan fancied 3 days of during the last month and he took him for cuddles and a bit of shopping.Doesnt want it tomorrow evening in Wolves,Nor does he fancy Bath on Sunday. He wont be riding in Kempton midweek as he doesnt fancy the journey. Now if Fahey had been flat out all year with runners all over I could well understand him being tired but for the last 4 months he has been on the easy list in terms of hard labour.SDS and Fallon outwork him,They travel further,Have more ambition and more importantly are for the battle while Paul just sits back.Unless he rides 2 or 3 winners tomorrow,Hanagan backers can feel let down.
Why should he have to go here there and everywhere just to please you,hes riding for a job not to suit the whims as such as you.Hes like a lot of others before him going everywhere to ride winners last year to win the title, once they win it they dont have the same hunger for it again

He was totally shattered by the end of last season and I wouldn't blame him for not putting himself through all of that again. Plus with the summer night racing over then there are no evening meetings up north and with the AW courses being in either the Midlands or the south, then it maybe suits Fallon more to go to those as he's based nearer and/or it's easier to get to if he's also riding down south during the day.
Plus were some of those days off Hanagan had due to using up his quota of 9 meetings a week?
