http://www.henandterry.com/index.php Yes, he certainly is a fighter! He surprises the nurses by his determination. The hospital will release him shortly but I’ll need a chain and padlock to keep him quiet at home. Have already been in touch with Oaksey House in Lambourn – the wonderful Injured Jockeys Fund Rehab centre. They sound brilliant and most helpful. He had to do a sentence for his attractive female speech therapist yesterday and he said “I’d like to take you home”. Not lost his sense of humour! Thanks for all your WONDERFUL messages – I’ve read them out to him. He is so touched – what an amazing fanclub he has.

Josh Gifford, 70, the former champion jockey and Grand National-winning trainer, remains in a critical condition in hospital in Worthing where he was admitted last weekend with septicemia.
Agreed . There is so much selfishness and ridiculous bias on this forum that its lovely to read a thread such as this , albeit very sad and poignant . Terry is a gentleman in both definitions of the word and a sense of humour helps everyone , not least Terry himself. Its important to remember the greats who have graced this sport . In the case of Josh Gifford , a very good trainer but an even better jockey . God bless them both .
