BREEDERS' CUP DREAM LIVES ON

Dream Ahead could have one last hurrah in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

It had been perceived that the exceptionally talented colt was due for the breeding sheds following his head defeat of Goldikova in the Prix de la Foret.

But trainer David Simcock is now giving serious consideration to running him at Churchill Downs on November 5.

He told the Daily Mail: "The Breeders' Cup is a distinct possibility.

"We are keeping the horse ticking over and a decision will be made nearer the race.

"Obviously, it was fantastic way to finish his European campaign in the Foret.

"If you took Frankel out of the equation, he would be the outstanding three-year-old of the year.

"They are two very good horses, with Frankel being an exceptional one."

Dream Ahead, five times a Group One winner, has recently been sold to Ballylinch Stud in Ireland.
