Doubt whether Dream Ahead stayed a mile at Ascot. He was ridden as though they doubted it and then eased in the final furlong. Bare form makes him about 10lbs below Zoffany which means Gio Ponti is a world-beater.

I think SS must either be on a wind up or on acid... because he surely ain't on this planet! :O)PP
This thing will be 140 bhb rated before the end of next year - every week another group winner franks the form and horses he's beaten have won group ones at all distances from 6-12f... NUFF SAID! |

Somerset , he just looks as if he's totally clueless about pace and how it shapes the outcome of a race .
Do you want to be the one to tell him about the pitfulls of taking collateral form as gospel ? |

Come on Stan. You explain.

By:
Nah...
I'll just ask him to accommodate me at evens and see what reaction I get? [:)] |

SS... Go fish somewhere else - you cannot be serious and must be on a wind up!

By:
The reaction is of course FO.

But seriously good though he is,I`m not convinced he`s the greatest thing ever on 4 legs.

You only have to look back at all of the horses that have finished behind Frankel at some stage of their careers and then either look at the races they go on to win or look back at some they have previously won to see how good the form is.
Nathaniel, Treasure Beach, Roderic O'Connor, Dream Ahead, Excelebration, Strong Suit, Dubawi Gold, Rio De La Plata and Rajsaman have all boosted the form at some stage or other during the season and Frankel's defeats of Canford Cliffs and Dream Ahead give a line to Goldikova where either of those horses beat her at a mile or 7 furlongs. |
