I have been trying to make a living laying horses but i am running at a loss over the last 3 months.

I tend to lay horses in the place market because my bank is small.

Is that the wrong market to lay in?

If your laying favs been a bad few days in the place markets, better off having a procedure around laying place markets they tend to sqeuak in the frame a lot over the jumps your laying at a shorter price so outcome is more likely, so a big bank is reqiured for this with only 5% staked i would say, but race by race laying is a killer belive me best of luck mate.

Analyse your results and reverse the process by backing the type of horses you are laying would be a sensible move.

footyfan.... certain 'people' in horse racing want to 'cane' us layers.

Do you think that is fair?

If Usain Bolt curls one out in the long jump pit before the 100m final next year he's a lay at 1.3 then?

watchit

"for a newbie a good system is to lay horses that go mental in the stalls
the jockey should really alert the starter but they dont give a monkeys about the punter and just happily guide the horse home in there own time out the back
the horse when leaving the stalls is dizzy and semi conscious when leaving the stalls so it rarely wins"

Making a book on betfair would require going in play as you can't make a book before the off.

The odds won't let you?
