Enough is enough now, it got stuffed and not for the first time this year. The filly Snow fairy is better than this animal. So enough now, you lot talked the talk and the horse failed to walk the walk. So best let the horse fade in to the has been section and let true superstars (i.e STS) take up the rightful bandwidth they deserve.

Do not knock the horse, knock the people that have hyped him.
He runs every race to within a pound, over distances that I think are too short for him.
He is a handicapper's dream ,he is the key for every race in which he competes, you just work around him.
The more I see of him the more I like him.

How about the atrocious ride from another of your clueless jockey, informed by your clueless trainer.

If Bart was training he would of been rock hard fit enough to be close enough to win, joke it is that racing you lot got going on over there, not worth 2 bob.

you're all quick to banter in on SYT backers but which of you lot tipped the winner?

l'll post this here so the poms cant ignore it, seeing they like to banter

before the usual pommy serial crunts start, i hope you had your sunday bath ffs

question for you know it all's
you go on and on about how good sea the stars was, so tell me, how come he only beat Mourayan in the Juddmonte Beresford Stakes by 1/2 a len and only a group 2[;)]

poor Mourayan had 11 starts in Australia and couldnt beat 5 bears at the annual teddy bears picnic spoon n honey race.greatest middle distance horse ever....my assLaugh

so before you attack a horse like SO YOU THINK..just remember one important thing, your greatest ever race horse 6 months ago was workforce........until SO YOU THINK broke his heart and hasnt been the sameLaugh...so what do you miserable poms do, make excuses and jump on the Frankel bandwagonLaughLaugh

i use to admire the strength uk stayers, but no more,Australia has gone past you !!! australian and new zealand produce just as good quality stayers as the best of them and SO YOU THINK  wasnt our best, but still a champion.

wont it piss you guys off when he takes out your awards as the best middle distance runner in the world.

and i licked my lips watching SO YOU THINK run the fastest last furlong haha, and you say he cant stay. 50 more yards he get 2nd..pmslLaugh

50 yards more for second? Stop getting all wet at the prospect of finishing runner up aka loser aka not the winner aka beaten.

They are taking it well on the aussie forum...

Some very well informed and objective posts.

I particularly love the title of one of their threads.."So You Think done Australasia Proud, cant say the same for Workforce"LaughLaughLaugh

Being objective - he wasn't given the most inspiring of rides. I know the draw didn't help but he was far enough back to have been able to take him to the outside and make his move earlier. I think he should definitely have been a clear second.

SYT broke 57 for the last 1000, not exactly shabby over 1 1/2 miles, so he stayed well. Beaten, but far from disgraced. No horse made more ground from that far back. I think it is sad that we are spraying each other with pointless insults. Great horse, has proven itself. I am more interested in peoples thoughts on Danedream, I stayed up till 1.30am down here in Aus to watch and loved her performance, awesome.

I thought SYT ran a very good race given a conservative ride by Heffernan.
By:
silvergreaser

A decent run from a decent horse, I believe riding the horse from off the pace is the best way as he doesn't seem to do a tap in front, when he hit the front in the crawl that was the Melbourne cup after cruising into contention he stopped as if shot if they went much further he would been swamped out of the place money, holding him up allowed him to finish as close as he did yesterday imo.
But we all know he's no world beater a genuine group one animal that won't go down in history alongside the greats of times past or times future.

using mouryan as a benchmark to how good sts is/was  makes absolutely no sense!

to actually doubt the ability of sts is just stupid, just look at what he did, will prob never be replicated and he would laugh at syt and as u will know from my comments i think v highly of syt and am one of his supporters. hes a bloody good horse and naver runs a bad race but compared to sts hes nothng!

ok megsy!!

i dont know why syt gets a hard tome tbh, im irish and i think hes a cracking horse and ran a blinder from a sh!te stall yesterday!

i would like to see him run again maybe in the champion stakes at ascot, only because he takes his racing so well, i hink o brien shouldve got another race in to him before the arc personally, hes a huge horse!

i have said for months he was a lay, you need a horse with instant acceleration to win most arcs he does not have it ,
he is a decent horse but no worldbeater,
thank you for your donationsHappy
