Eventually Paul Roy of the BHA will understand what's it's like for racing to be on its knees.
Because he's suddenly woken up to the dismal state he's allowed racing to sink to in this Country, you ask?
Certainly not.
The only thing he will ever have in common with racing is when he too kneels to receive his knighthood, "Mr Paul Roy, for services to racing"
You can bet your bottom dollar, it'll be a case of "Arise, Sir Paul"
But then when that happens it'll probably say more about the 'grey suits' behind the Honours System than about the merits of Paul Roy, ex-banker, present Betfair shareholder and self-satisfied overseer of all that has gone wrong in racing.
