The Chase was his first ever winner (and his 2nd I think)

Saw the big fella at a pub quiz once - somebody asked him how many Grand Nationals Red Rum had won. He sneered and waved 3 fingers dismissively at us.
"Wrong! He won 4 including the Scottish!"
Oh how we laughed
