An average of 2 selections a day for the last 15 days or so and not one winner. I back all your selections to modest stakes (thank God).                  Is this 'cold' run likely to end soon ?  I'm almost broke !

This guy should stick to form instead of all his crazy statistics and at this time of the year bull etc.

Another thing, dont follow tipsters.

Betting is really not for these people. Short-term losing spells at the price range he works in are inevitable.

---Well guys,I decided to quit betting completely about 3 years ago now --(health and wealth reasons)--ie. my nervous system was imploding, and my bank account leaking cash-----------however, I still find horse racing fascinating, and all the characters and stories that go to enhance it.-----and amazingly, I still read this forum at least twice a week !( love the cryptic humour that surfaces from time to time).  I have also been following the fortunes of various "media tipsters", and bearing in mind that most of them probably know about 100% more about racing than I do,they are generally a route to the poor house.------now this particular tipster, Hugh, seems like a nice genuine guy, and his write ups on his tips are very compelling, and obviously follow hours of research.etc-----------however, I'm fairly sure that he has now selected 28 consecutive losers, which is really scary for his followers. ----------If nothing else , it proves beyond doubt that too much knowledge is indeed a dangerous thing in this game, and its probably simpler to follow stables in form, or types of races that trainers like to target.( or colours, numbers, or horses with pretty faces !)-----------anyway, all the best to anyone I have chatted to in the past, and TAKE CARE !--David

He beats the price 99% of the time, you follow him at top price you win long term to a % of the edge you beat the 100% to.

The mug mentality is prevalent on this forum and increases when said tipster goes on a bad run, however this is inevitable. You win long term if you beat the price to 100%.

Ratpacks 'list horse' on the other hand........

anybody who slavishly follows any tipster is heading straight for the poor house. read/listen to all of them, filter the information they present and then try to work out which bits are relevant. piece of cake!!!

^^^ Obviously if you remotely achieve beating the price on a consistent basis your account will be closed/restricted to within an inch of its life, and you won't be able to bet any more...

I'd like to thank Mr Taylor - i'm generally a layer of his horses as the price crashes  - some times you have to help the crash along LaughLaughLaugh - if he keeps up this good run i'd hope that i'd be able to moor my potential yacht next to that of Alain Charnier, who is also keen layer - may the cash machine that is Mr Taylor continue for some time - bless him.
