Bigger odds than he normally recommends playing at but he is VERY confident on this one.The new Hills regime are sure to attract money in the 1st at Goodwood but the reality is nothing is any different to before Barry retired.
Amber Silk will probably go off favourite on the back of a promising first run, however the molerat has been advised that the horse is a bit of a pig and unlikely to be good enough to re-produce that run on this track against some decent types.
The plan is to try and bounce out of the stalls and make the running,in which case the molerat says gives it half a chance,no more than that.He does not think the nag will get the lead and will be caught behind others for much of the race.
In short she is likely to be overbet because of the first run and track experience. The molerat has advised a decent win and place lay and an ask in running to cover stakes. His opinion is she will find traffic between 2 & 3 out and hang right causing a big spike in price so ask for stake and a bit of profit is my advice, place and win.
I hate Goodwood almost as much as Epsom for backing horses in straight win bets, unless they have undoubted class which this filly does not. There are apparently a couple that have higher future aspirations but are expected to go well today.
I am happy to row in with the molerats advice without adding any of my own.
It would appear that fraudboy has upset another forumite and this is unacceptable. However there is an option or indeed two options.
1.Do not read the posts and avoid being wound up,similar to the off button on the TV Mrs Whitehouse.
2.Get rid of Fraudboy.
No need to throw the cat out of the house just because the dog is barking.
