A PUNTER dubbed Dead Cert Man placed a £120,000 bet yesterday - saying he wants to win enough to buy a house. He put the wad on Novak Djokovic at 1-3 to beat Roger Federer in the French Open tennis semi-finals tomorrow.
The Sun told on Monday how the tracksuited 33-year-old gambler has made £160,000 since March with a series of bets on odds-on favourites - mainly in tennis. He always uses the same William Hill shop in Central London, and started with a stake of £8,400.
His £120,000 wager yesterday - his biggest yet - will net him £40,000 if it comes good, taking his total profits to £200,000.
He has told staff at the shop he aims to go on winning until he has enough to buy a house.
William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe said: "I can't recall another tennis bet of this size."
good luck to him and hope it dosent all end in tears ,hope fully it will be billys paying out for a nice big house for him, and if it does come off hes got a house for £8,000 odd on billys best of luck to him.....

Federer leads Djoko 2-1 in meetings on clay, 13-9 career overall, and 4-3 in the majors (no major meets on clay).
Djoko's recent winning record should be treated with caution in my view, especially when lumping 120k on it. Federer is still very motivated by the majors.

Tv people finally interviewed him and asked him what he did for a living replied 'this'. Came a cropper that day lumping some thing like 40,000 on a competitive hunter chase finale,at stratford i think,on the 11/8 fav. not heard of him since.

they would take it from this guy because they know he's a guesser, and they will get his winnings back , his original stake , and the thousands he will chase with

though he does still have 40k left looking at the article
all his previous bets were all in
You'd like to think he'd cash that in and walk away but we know it won't happen
