hi jimnast,leslie still gets a christmas card but hasnt spoken to him for ages,incidentally he didnt bet on the rails at york,he was in the ring,it was down south where he bet on the rails,cheltenham,goodwood and ascot i think,after he sold his cheltenham pitch it was then sold again for 235k!

ribero bernard goes in a working mens club where i go sometimes ,he likes a game of cards,he defintly bet on the rails at ascot i used his pitch on heath day once i remember snurge running in a 3 runner race cant remember if it won or not but i know i lost that day the exis were high.

"Imhotep".........Pat Whelan was betting on the rails at York for the Ebor Meeting in 1974. We were both staying at the Dragonara in Leeds....we travelled together & I helped him carry the flaps & hod in.
Sunderlands closed me down....they then took over Laurie Wallis. When the sale took place,I received a letter from Simon Wallis explaining events & informing me that my account would be transferred to Sunderlands.........perhaps I still have an account with them.
