How anyone wins on Horseracing or Tennis i don't know . I will doff my cap to you winners in advance Happy

Football is my chosen sport for betting , and that's better for finding your way ,and excellent if you like stategic betting  .
You simply have more time to ponder your next move  (in play over 92 minutes) , Suspending allows you to bet safely without being hoovered up by the fast pic lads , plus there's a less likelihood  of an  'odd outcome'

Stay lucky and wise .

now with the advent of the internet and acsess to every race from you armchair,it is more dificult!

Report tilted November 11, 2010 2:53 PM GMT
OK, guys.
Ask yourself whether, 1) If backing on athletics or swimming, would you take into account the speeds achieved by the athletes/swimmers in the past.
Now ask yourself 2) do you do the same with horses.

If your answers are 1) Yes and 2) No then you ought to lay slow horses when they are favourites for their races. Bingo.
The majority of horses that have run slowly in the past do not improve on their figures, unless they have been put aside to win a handicap . . . so if Stoute, Gosden, Wigham etc have a favourite with a set of slow time figures ignore that handicap.

Not sure how this excel spreadsheet will come out but I started keeping detailed records back in May09. Prior to that date I spent 3 years recovering losses made in the 2 years previous. The losses were always down to loss of discipline - you can't teach discipline, it's an individual thing. I can now go days without a bet if I cant find a race that matches my criteria for a bet. Also I am not now obsessed by figure in the top right hand corner, it's the long term that counts.

like a rich spoiled kid that always had everything easy now that times are harder he will surely have a harder time adapting instead of those that never knew any better than the current harder situation

if you like an Indian Bombay gate and babuls are top notch but top price, imperial express is a decent place for breakfast lunch and supper we go there quite often. Darlington townhouse has a restaurant called saltfish that's good, if you just want a drink 22 and hash are good also they are just round the corner from babuls. the Hideaway is nice if you just want a pint and a pizza, not any good Chinese but there is a Thai called Taipan Asia also a nice tapas bar on Bondgate The Old Yard Tapas Bar, hope this helps.

If you wait for something to happen in-running and then click you will struggle, but if you can read a race and compare horses against each other and see the value before the prices start to get volatile then you can still make great money from the markets.

Will make 90k plus easy each year, taking time off and trading half days when I do, due to the expert fee rules there is no incentive to make more. If you don’t believe that is my lifestyle then it’s not my concern. My time will end in the future just like your time has ended pretty much now.   But I try to help people who have a passion for the game totally for free and there is many entry and exit point during a race and the liquidity of new players is needed.

Its not easy alright but if you do not have silly over-rides and rigidly stick to your pre-set boxes in can be done but you have to accept missing some that are just under or over

I have 28 boxes from 1.01 to 5(!) and that is because if you lay any bigger the money simply will not be there to bail if is going against you

Different boxes in the plaIce with liability and fixed boxes but primarily useful at the start

A rare advantage is the lack of liquidity means some prices you never see are matched and you immediately think youve got the wrong one, but no, someitmes the gaps arer so big they boomerang up and down

eg, and this is outrageous after-timing- I got one at Dunsalk yesterday at 250. Never even looked at prices as I know its miles behind but it wasnt going too bad and trainer is hot atm and gave it a good word prior(Stephen Thorne)
