not the site it once was by a long chalk; can take it or leave it. i'm not nostalgic, but the days of janov and nephite were golden. i watch rawhide and bonanza in the evenings now to get over their loss; as i said, i'm not nostalgic.

Only one forum name for me , never post my selections apart from my North American thread so never any need to hide , like a good friendly and informed debate though in all honesty , only a handful of posts ever outside the Horse , General , American and Tennis forums due to no interest in any other sport

signing in, had a few gaps while I recover my wits and bank. Can't say I ve learnt much, but seen a few interesting comments over the years. Hate all the squabbling over nothing. Try to help those with a problem, but no inside info available so watching those with something to say is useful. It is obvious that studying which horse has 3lbs in hand of another is a waste of time, as we don't know which is trying today. Even the obvious no chancers do well when I lay them. In running is daft unless at the course, so best advice is pick a loser, lay it, green up at first opportunity. If it shortens, live with it, it was supposed to lose anyway.

I make that 58 so far. I sense some of us punting veterans are a bit reticent where the forum is concerned - mwnn 3 replies in over 7 years before today.
