its a bit away captain we can surely drum up a bit of support, even 4-5 a side will be ok, i will endevour to run it unless shearer is about and willing. I am off for a week and am pretty excited about that and the world cup

I've been doing a bit of homework and teams that do well and go on to win in the final are the teams built around a world class midfielder-teams built around a forward (ie england) rarely do well

I would have had a go at 14s on the Argys but the price is gone, the manager makes a big difference imo

Gerrard on his day is a formidable force, but one England have so far failed to use properly, play him behind rooney and use your wingers and i think rewards will come

gerrard is ok at best but if you think of england teams with true world class midfielders like robson/beckham that have failed to reach the finals,I think england are a lay
