ffs so ya did, unfortunately at that time i was experiencing something akin to gambling meltdown having flung a fair amount for me @ the scoop 6 to see me go out in the first fecking race, then i watched my next 3 picks win (only backed one) and a second and a third, luckily Inter restored the equilibrium

Another tim easterby horse that at face value doesn't look particularly well handicapped but is so tough and genuine very difficult not to have on side through a season and is capable of picking up some decent sprints although they are ultra competitive at this level.
Last season he started on a mark of 100 and although never won a race in twelve runs his consistency was such only dropped 5 pounds, infact at one point ran 6 consecutive races off 99,98,98,98,98,99 and was never beaten further than 1 1/4ls in any of these races..
This fella finished the season on a mark of 95 this is infact its last winning mark and lowest since october 2008,the horse seems to run well at two particular tracks york 1/84,4/99,4/99,2/99 and also musselburgh 1 in 2008,1/95,4/100,4/98 all the horses best performances have been under david allan and infact two of its worst performances were its last two races of the 2009 season ridden by jocks unknown to the horse.
An ultra consistent type and in the most competitve sprints through the season think the horse deserves a change of luck and will be very surprised if this fella doesn't pick up at least one of these this season and at a decent price.

The one i like from this race is yesterdays disappointment webbow seemingly one paced although trapped in for a while on the inside doidn't really pick up when the gap appeared, lots of pundits are now questioning this horses attitude and even the distance.
The race above proves these arguements to be totally wrong running off 94 and finishing full of running off a fast pace with not the greatest of runs there could be a relatively simple explaination, pace in all the big field handicaps this fella has performed with credit.
If you look at all his runs with 14+ runners he's never run a bad race last nine runs with 14+ runners has been 3/15,1/14,1/19,2/16,7/29 only beaten 4ls,2/17,4/19,3/20,5/20 and the last 7 of those in very competitive races and over the mile so i think all these question marks are unfounded. The more runners and the quicker the race the more chance of a decent perfprmance,he's now on a mark of 90 will drop another pound and with some of the bigger handicaps not to far away with this latest performance may just be over priced and could pick one up at very juicy price.

Good morning, plenty money coming for the system lay, but there is a horse in the race that I have taken the time to make notes about, which i very rarely do. So will back Colorado Gold. Note says "up with pace, headed final f, kept on well clear of rest, needs further", mind u i am sure there is a reason I never take notes. Oh and I will again be taking the plunge on Webbow, if it dont win today I am finnish with this horse. I also think that tarentella lady might offer some e/w value in the 2.10 but my form is rotten at the moment. Good luck all.

Well there looks a good reasonable arguement relating to field sizes and its overall form in the big handicaps is faultless. Its just the races are so competitive, that race at haydock wasn't a great deal of pace and the race i've put up from last june was an unlucky loser.I've only backed it once but that race from june has always stuck in the back of my mind, usually a good sign.
By:
Fat Dodgy
When: 23 May 10 02:05
backed it 3 times, including a large bet at york last year, its next entry is the royal hunt cup at ascot which i cant see being less competitive, if they tried 10f maybe but as a miler its finished for me, you have to cut your loses sometime
By:
thegiggilo
When: 23 May 10 02:12
Its going to be off a 5 pound lower mark than that run above and was finishing fastest of all,it will be 16s+ in these handicaps probably bigger now.At those prices or bigger can afford to back its next 4/5 runs as it would be far to big a price if unplaced on its next couple of runs from a bad draw for example.
By:
Fat Dodgy
When: 23 May 10 02:16
i think it needs a new trip, but I will keep an eye on it ascot wont be the place though imo

I've been watching all its races and the ascot run it looked one of its weakest finishes,i don't bet in that race anyway as draws always impossible.
