Lol rather your money than mine on timepiece.. you know this is a hype horse, don't do it! Ridiculous price.. and yeah probably will win, but really don't think it should be 4/6. Celidh house interests me a little in that race, but will prob leave it alone.

Backed Desert Myth in the Derby Trial at 9/4.. and the price is probably based upon hype too, but I was quite impressed with maiden win, through just hands and heels riding.. believe the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th all won NTO. But not involved too heavily, just something to make it a bit more interesting.

Backed One Way or Another in the Victoria Cup 20/1 EW 5 places. Really unlucky last time and a good thing it didn't get luck to win or would be running off a lot higher mark. Fav could be anything, but we'll see.

Backed Conquisto at 12/1 in the Swinton, 1st time in HC, recorded some really good times in nov company and large distance wins, needs to unexposed, such a competitive race. Fancy Williams Wishes too... hopefully will reach 25/1 with Skybet who are going 5 places.

C'mon Ilwab, tomorrow's selections should already be done! Where is the professional gambler within you?!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 7, 2010 11:47 PM BST
haha!! pro gambler i wish!!i dont think id like to be, too much anxiety Laugh..... yeah saw theology won nicely yesterday, form looks solid but in still not sure!looks wide open!youve put me right off timepiece anyway lol

did u back AOA today? he'll beat harbinger if they re oppose imo!
Report RyanWe May 7, 2010 11:55 PM BST
Yeah I did back AoA.. what a lovely public gallop that was! Am not sure he can reverse the form with Harbinger tbh, but AOB horses really don't seem to be in top form, so you could be right.. just hard to envisage it atm! I think I hate chester too tbh, need so much luck, probably good for getting some big priced winners though.. just way too random for me. You not really bet the night before?
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:00 AM BST
dont rate harbinger at all tbh, think he'll get slaughter against the good middle distance runners like dar re mi  fame and glory  sariska midday et al!!not really, unless i really fance something!i like to see the horse b4 the race and know its ok, not sweating etc just the way i operate but sometimes have a few quid b4, big handicaps like victoria cup etc id just back whenever as big prices usually gone b4 morning!pot luck too those races!!Laugh  gaps opening, rightside of course!!! I WANNA MAKE MONEY
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:07 AM BST
LaughLaughLaugh!! I implore you not to underestimate Harbinger against the better horses.. typical Stoute 4yo improver, but probably will always be priced too short from now on.

Heard a terrible stat for the Victoria Cup tomorrow about only 1 winner drawn from 1-9 in past 15 years? You fancy anything in that race yet? I know it's a bit of a lottery race, probably too competitive.. but you go by that stat and that's a 1/3rd of the field gone!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:09 AM BST
lol dont bother too much with stats but when it comes to draws there  is definitely!!!ill get u the winner now hang on!
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:16 AM BST
Well I don't really follow stats either.. especially those stupid ones like "no favourite has won in the last 10 years". Well this isn't a performance factor, the horse doesn't know he/she is favourite and decides to run slower.. always cracks me up anyway! Ok but if your selection doesn't win then we can't keep having our professional gambling club conversations ;) haha.
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:32 AM BST
TOP WEIGHT FOR ME ****Dunelight****

races off 106 with talented 5lb claimer john fahy

stall 19 (statsLaugh)

third to paco boy in G2 at goodwood off a mark of 109

7f his best distance

races up with the pace so no traffic problems (hopefully)

clive cox in decent enough form so no negatives there

32's on here at the moment, yes its a stretch but thats the best i could do in 15 mins so cut me some slack ffsLaugh

most likely something v well handicapped or like the fav unexposed but i think youd have to be mental to take 5/1 in a race like this where i think hes better over a mile myself, 7 too short for him!place lay him!

TA DALaughLaughLaugh dunelight to pass the line in last spot  any takers lol
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:34 AM BST
7 FURLONGS too short for him (mabait) that is!
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:38 AM BST
Dunelight v.interesting.. 33's with LB's, GET ON! can't see it being that price if exchanges anything to go by.. just wish they done 5 places the stingy gits. I think you make a good case.. running off a mark of 101. 500EW yeah?!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:42 AM BST

Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:47 AM BST
LaughLaugh I thought it was common knowledge that Ilwab is code name for Tom Segal of Pricewise? Obviously everyone listens to your every word.. am going to back it just because you said so.. but I hope someone going 5 places goes 33's.. probs asking for too much though. One Way or Another in the RFC with Dunelight.. Easy money!

Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:54 AM BST
8.2 on place market.. quite decent liquidity at this time too. Probably safer option. Still would like to do it EW at 33's with 5 places though!
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:55 AM BST
All welcome here Billybob.. hope you are right with Desert, got any fancies/angles for big races?
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 12:56 AM BST

Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 12:59 AM BST
"Might grab a place" LaughLaugh Just imagine if this turned out to be the Derby winner, I say we all plunge on the 33's for the Derby now instead!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:02 AM BST
3'45 looks to be at the mercy of alainmaar but is ridiculously short, no bet for me and will defo go higher i-r, nervous layers at some pointLaugh no bet race for me anyway!!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:03 AM BST
yeah but dunelight aint in the derbyLaugh
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 1:05 AM BST
Hope the 3.10 didn't take you all night, or I fear you may miss the rest of tomorrow's racing LaughLaugh. Not really looked at the non-televised racing that strongly atm, as no markets up. Ilwab.. take a punt with Captive Audience 16/1 EW tomorrow if you fancy it. Been punished by HC'er for winning Nov race easy, but could still be underestimated off 140. Even STS couldn't get 140.. ;)
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 1:08 AM BST
Ohhhh you soooo know I was talking about the oh-so-wonderful-money-making-next-Sea-The-Stars Machine Desert Myth ILWAB! 33/1 for the Derby, you can pay me 50% for the tip after it wins on the bridle and SNA will be so far back we will all need binoculars!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:08 AM BST
captain audience - ill take a look!!im not sharing if it wins!!Cry
Report billybobjunior May 8, 2010 1:09 AM BST
true.I have always been a tranquil Tiger fan so I think he might give the fav a run.Tranquils Tigers race last time was a v good group 3
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:10 AM BST
binoculars in the derby? jeasus, hes rated about 176Laugh
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 1:11 AM BST
Problem is.. Doesn't Tranquil Tiger have a 14lb penalty from winning G3/Lstd races. Looks very vulnerable, hence his inflated price. Game horse mind.
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 1:12 AM BST
LaughLaughLaugh Mate they should make the Derby in to a 1m4f hurdle race. You imagine the difficulty of jumping hurdles on that crazy course.. maybe they should move the Chelt fest to Epsom instead!
Report billybobjunior May 8, 2010 1:14 AM BST
yeah but alainmaar will be too short in comparison to tranquil who is proved at the top level
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:15 AM BST
yeah i like TT but this looks way beyond him but id hate to put u off, anything can happen! he is 3/3 at the track aw that isLaugh but stranger things...maybe a little forcast!!
Report billybobjunior May 8, 2010 1:18 AM BST
maybe.I think you can rule out Burdiaz and V G so if the bookies make TT and peligroso 7/2 or 4s then reverse forcasts might be an option
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:18 AM BST
difficult?? thats an understatement, u ever tried jumping a hurdle on a halfpipe Laugh
Report RyanWe May 8, 2010 1:21 AM BST
LaughLaugh Well maybe Racing For Change will introduce it to get younger people in to racing.. as horses jumping hurdles on a half pipe does sound quite amazing.. don't think the Animal Welfare will approve though!
Report ilikewavingatbuses May 8, 2010 1:23 AM BST
