Can someone please explain to me - and I ask this sincerely as a newbie to the UK game (I'm from Canada) why Aiden O'Brien's horses are always so overbacked? It seems to me he gets very little out of the premium stock he is provided with. I mean, he wins a lot of Grade 1s over the years due to sheer numbers....but so many misplaced horses, and disappointments it seems to me. Am I wrong?
Just checked, and GIGANTIC level takes loss on him....esp. in Ire....although I guess that could have something to do with the 2-3 pacemakers he sometimes has in there....which is sorta also my point. Million dollar pacesetters.

12 wins from 78 runs in Britain in 2009 returned +32.53 to a £1 stake (http://www.racingpost.com/horses/trainer_home.sd?trainer_id=7978)
It's a fascinating set-up.
