I layed the fav Cwmni at approx 1.29 in the place market, six runners, and it came third and not been credited and my statement says 'lost'. I thought top two was for six runners?

Cheers so it's based on the maximum number of runners for place terms on all occassions - runners or with non runners. Bother!
I think its based on the rules when the market is first formed. I dont do much place betting but my understanding is that if you get a withdrawal the origional rules stand. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Always read the rules
