Looks a cracking race with pretty much every horse in the field holding some chance. I do have a very strng feeling though that Redwood will prove himself to be a real top class horse this year and, if thats the case this Group 3 is well within his reach. Won a decent Newmarket maiden on his debut before returning to the course to take a Listed prize on his next start. He won that well, beating the Irish Derby 6th Drumbeat an easy 2l. Drumbeat went straight to Chester a few weeks later off the back of that, going down by less than a neck to South Easter. He was taken to York for the Dante the following month but he never really travelled at any point and finished well adrift. He picked up an injury and missed the rest of the season but made his combeack at Sandown 12 days ago in a very strong Group 3. He went down fighting to a certain improver in Glass Harmonium, only a head away at the line. They pulled 4l clear of the well touted Laaheb with a further length to Crowded House. 4/1 with WH looks well worth taking.
