2000 g it seems to me that unless some wild outside scores, the 2000 has got to go to cranford cliffs or dick turpin.

concerning the weekender, does anyone still collect the results section,as anyone emailed the weekender to tell them that the internet and computers have been invented, given its impossible to read a race searching through back copies of the result,it takes that long to do it - im starting studying the 2013 grang national,im only doing first 15 in the betting so that i might be finished in time.
i ve managed to contact the last 4 known people who still collect the results section and asked them do you really need it and couldnt you use the internet, heres there replies.
1)SWEDISH UNION OF LUMBERJACKS - chief shop steward, the weekender results section is one of the most important publications we service, our job is to protect our members future employment,it accounts to 39% of all trees felled in sweden annually and would decimate our industry if it was stopped.
2)walter braithwaite of huddersfield i was unable to speak to him personally ,but his carers said he looked forward to his weekly copy of the weekender and allthough his eyesight had worsened over the years ,it was one of the few pleasures he had left,(he dosent read the paper anymore, but still subscribes)
3)charlie lister greyhound trainer he stated he only buys it every fortnight, but the results section makes great bedding for his dogs, his has a skip in his yard for the pages he dosent need
4)gladis segal - pensioner she buys it every week and has collected her grandsons publication every since he had worked at the weekender, allthough she was running out of room to store it .
isnt it worth the weekender asking their customers ,does anyone collect it,if not we could sell the paper cheaper, for the 2 or 3 people who moan - wouldnt it be cheaper to buy them a computer .
it takes me ,the newsagent and 2 others to lift it into my pick up truck when i buy it - try throwing it away as soon as you buy it - you dont get alot left.
so he doesnt tip the winner of the 2000 and gives the fav in the 1000,who only gets the race in the stewards room ,and you think thats a cause of promoting him on here lord help us if he tips both and ones not a fav you,ll be in melt down

I don't collect the Weekender Results pages I actually read them and make colour coded notes on the pages. Anything that is worth noting is noted on paper and it is far quicker than going through pages of irrelevant web information.
Both W/E and Update had a reader survey recently and the top section to be retained at all costs was the Results. Possibly because that is what professionals use.
