In 99% of cases of dogs brushing against nettles - No.
This is due to the dog's hair acting as a protective coat to the skin.
The exception is when a male dog lifts it's leg to piddle and receives a sting to it's privates.
This can result in severe panic to both dog and startled owner, ofter resulting in owner being dragged along, rather like a racing journalist after a gravy train.

Were you thinking of feeding your dog stinging nettles ?!
