Francome made a complete rick saying the result would have stood in France never mind England. Obvious the French filly was taken sideways and the jockey of Cecil's horse had his whip in the wrong hand when the bump occured. Channel 4 jumped the gun announcing the 'winner' several times and putting the owner through the mill. Commiserations to connections of Jacqueline's Quest but the stewards were spot on imo.

Francombe shouls know better than to make off the cuff uninfrmed remarks like that, he has gone down in my estimation.
