ho was Bernard Van Cutsem's assistant trainer, and Head LOad ?
Used to think Bernard was a master trainer - as were many others in those days, like Jeremy Tree etc - in the mould of Prescott.
However, have since read that he quite liked to spend the whole night 'at the tables' in London casinos.
Difficult to do both - unless he supervised the work lots on returning from London - and then went to bed during the daytime, like dear Dorothy. :)

Mick Ryan was his assistant trainer at the time I think
It did throw up a few disappointing animals for a while, When Hills sponsored it was the Futurity is was unkindly named the "Obscurity"
