I think if people are going to get personal about people then this thread should be binned. As far as I know Jan Leeming never had issues with facial hair.

I have great respect for GC and his knowledge of horseracing.

But I am surprised that someone of his intellect and integrity should feel the need to associate himself with the shady business of professional tipstering.

Above anything else, surely he doesn't need the hassle nor the potential for tarnishing his image.

I believe that I could do a better job than Brown our MP, as good as the manager of Liverpool. would win Britain Got Talent if they would answer my phone calls.

But as I sit here in my High rise flat over looking the red light district of Birmingham life is so unfair.

Good Luck today. graham,

Only joking.

Luke I am not a tipster---my point is simple -----if you charge people for tips which do not show a profit you have 2 choices either admit failure(like Graham did last year) and stop or a more honourabe course of action----- return the subscriptions

loper were is Grahams image other than on national TV.
Without the coverage, were would he get his living. not punting by all accounts.
It is entertainment, and he looks good and as you all say he talks a great fight. that's all you get, im afraid,
hats Horse-racing the moment that the Band leader says I want 30 songs at the gig your popularity is under threat.
To give an opinion in every race covered is a guaranteed 10% loss maker. try it yourself.

It's pretty obvious to anyone that understands racing that G.Cunningham knows the game inside out.
That's the bottom line.

Don Butler's ramblings continue to confuse.

He's always sported a massive pair of blinkers, but I wish he'd try a tongue strap.

Here's the deal. I work as hard as I can. Sometimes I win, other times I lose. I've been lucky enough to come across some great people in trying to get a useful business going. And I've been unlucky enough to come across some anonymous rats who try to be extremely destructive about a service that - unlike so many - is completely clear and accountable. On occasion I've been guilty of getting too fiery about the destructive characters. Now it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't plan to post again. I do plan to keep grafting in the hope that I can make my site as useful as possible to those who have paid their hard earned. Hope this helps.

newboy I do not know the gentleman but is as you say he admitted failure last year.

Then he is a one off, as I would hazard a guess that there is no other pundit, tipster, has done the same so we must beg to differ my opinion is that he looks the part speaks well. has a great knowledge of the game. and is 100% honest in his record keeping.
I would say if he loses his job then he could always become the next Pope.

my last post on the subject-----

Graham you set up a tipping line--charging people money for you information
On the tips for which you have charged both last year and this your customers are LOSING MONEY----this is fact

Instead of calling "rats "those who offer informed criticism would you not be better advised to return the subscriptions?

thread starter needs to get a life and mature a little

i've never used a tipster in my life but if i did and it flopped i'd be blaming myself not the tipster

as far as tv is concerned i'd rather listen to gs than 99% of the other pundits, bloke has more enthusiasm for the game than most and puts the effort in

met him once at bangor, nice chap, not up his @rse, good guy imo

The question that matters with regard to a tipping line is not as some on here (chomy, ybor, etc) as to wether you like or don't like the person behind it,is a simple one,why does the owner feel its more profitable to sell their tips to others rather than just back them themselves....

really like graham on ruk but pretty surprised he has gone down this route again

as loper said earlier does he really need all the baggage attatched to running a tipping service in return for a probable decent but not life changing amount of money?

the answer appears to be yes

Sorry Newsboy this thread will I am sure convince Graham's producer how popular he is, after all as only 1% of race watchers join a forum,
it would mean that Mr Cunningham has a massive fan base.
worth an extra 10% remuneration.

Good luck to you as well my friend, you cant win them all.

Zeb

I could understand your view if someone was selling "inside info" but if a tipster decides to set up a tipping site using form to select winners/losers then it's surely up to the indervidjals to decide what to do !

I've been tipping on for 30 years(anniversary last month ) and enjoy doing it. I probably lose less than 4 days a month on here.
It's nice to spread wealth.

i have never met gc, so have no reason to be pro or anti.
it is obvious that he is a well clued in racing pundit, that "qualification" does not guarantee that you can make racing pay. whether you choose to follow gc's sels or otherwise is a personal decision, i suspect that many people including those who subscribe to his service value his opinion and on any given day can choose to punt or pass on the given sel.

gc does not go down the ridiculous scatter gun approach favoured by some of his competitors, it is not an easy task trying to make a level stakes profit over a given period as the sels have to be supplied a certain time in advance, and in real punting terms the closer you punt to the off the better, for a variety of reasons.

i wish gc well with his service, and the ironic rub for his "knockers" is that i bet most of them for all their criticism would still want to know his daily sels, a sort of back handed complement.

I had a spat with Graham on a different issue the other day but on this issue I think you are being unfair. First of all has anyone bothered to post how many bets he has recommended and what is his overal profit loss.

What I would say to graham is he proofing his service with anyone ?.

£35 a month is about the equivalent of making 5 phone calls to that shady duo, Thompson & Nevison.

GC has had the courage to post his P&L, something that Thompson & Nevison have resisted for years despite their outrageous claims in their daily adverts.

I wish GC well but wonder for how long he will be able to run with this.

Caveat Emptor, newboy77, yfsc.

Whilst still free, yifter notched up 10pts win in March, so you are still 3pts to the good following his tips. Assuming the process is the same under subscription as it was when free, you get not just a text or email with selections, but plenty of analysis (right or wrong) behind the selections. At just over £1 a day that seems decent enough if you bet every day or several times a week.

Which brings me to the one flaw - claiming early prices in the P&L when they halve in price or more. Credit to YtS for spotting the price anomaly, but any P&L ought to be shown at SP imo.

jbarnes, you say not a life changing sum of money. I have a colleague who runs a very successful line with 120 clients each paying £1295 per year. Is that life changing enough. To be honest just changing your occupation for the even the same amount is life changing
By:
missty
When: 01 May 10 13:29
due to the prices being slashed, tipping lines are now pretty much worthless, unless they are played to SP. as are tips in certain races, where very few can even get an ew bet on etc
