It's a long story, probably on gubbed. Don't want to try and guess exactly what Dench said as I wouldn't want to get it wrong.

personally I wouldn't like it at all if my trainer gave info immediately prior to a race about the chances of a horse I was running which I wanted to bet

my guess is jenkins was telling the truth, the trick used to be to catch him at the right time, then he was fine

at the wrong time, then he was very scarey!!!
