Those Trainer's Record type books were 'ten a penny' when computers came to the fore.
All you had to do was hit the right button for the database to churn it out.
Pages and pages of pretty pointless statistics - that often were not relevant in any major way.

Trainers Record, appeared on the scene in the early 70s and was the first and the best. First published long before computers were used in racing (pre-dates centralised handicapping) and usually included one or two gems that the individual punter would have found impossible to have noticed re the behaviour patterns of certain trainers. A useful tool back then in the search for the 'overpriced' runner.
