Stoopid thread - Beautifully bred filly, worth a fortune without racing/winning, pulled like a train and never settled. Thrash the a rse of it a great tactic.
Report wonders April 28, 2010 6:45 PM BST
wouldn t bet him in a walkover
Report blackbarn April 28, 2010 6:46 PM BST
Then just lay him. Simples really.
Report wonders April 28, 2010 6:46 PM BST

Report blackbarn April 28, 2010 6:48 PM BST
Your initial post is still ridiculous!!, in the context of this race.
Report wonders April 28, 2010 6:50 PM BST
look hes useless and thats it
Report elisjohn April 28, 2010 6:50 PM BST
is this the jockey that maktoums choose after willie carson retired, or was there someone else

Always amazes me how illlogical people are when it comes to losing money - "f uck my money's gone, who can i blame....."
Report blackbarn April 28, 2010 6:51 PM BST
You are entitled to your view. Problem is that that race was in no way a piece of evidence for it. Watch it again.

i did'nt back it but i really dont rate him!
Report blackbarn April 28, 2010 6:54 PM BST
Upto - his debating skills are on a par with his race-reading skills if his latest assessment is anything to go by.
Report wonders April 28, 2010 6:56 PM BST
hes going to keep riding till hes bout 60 i bet dear oh dear
Report macca007 April 28, 2010 6:56 PM BST
he must put out , because he truly is the worst jockey i have seen , cannot get a horse balanced in a finish and is weaker than Steven Hawkings in a driving finish
Report elisjohn April 28, 2010 6:56 PM BST
m.johnston must love him riding his horses
Report wonders April 28, 2010 6:58 PM BST
yes why do u think that is ?
Report jmc27 April 28, 2010 6:59 PM BST
If he was bashing horses he wouldnt be in a job with Hamden thats for sure!

Not a case of bashing them , more of a case of being able to ride them .
Report waxy April 28, 2010 7:02 PM BST
I backed Wajanat but didn't see the race. The commentary was very clear that the horse wouldn't settle, no complaints. Mind you I'm a bit worried about my bet on Ishraaqat in the next, trainer reckoned it would run well too.
Report tambhoy5 April 28, 2010 7:08 PM BST
some one forgot to tell him he wasn't on the gallops...3 schooling sessions so far ...4th comming up.
Report macca007 April 28, 2010 7:11 PM BST

Report macca007 April 28, 2010 7:12 PM BST

Report Bonza Bud April 28, 2010 7:13 PM BST
I agree with the thread starter, absolutely useless jockey, should be castrated and sent out to pasture
Report edwinchester April 28, 2010 7:13 PM BST
could deffo had got a place on that
Report macca007 April 28, 2010 7:14 PM BST
loved the way he picked his whip up , and then didn't know what to do with it
Report in the groove April 28, 2010 7:15 PM BST
put buick in the mix as well cos he's an even more overated ****
Report macca007 April 28, 2010 7:15 PM BST
Agreed , once buick lost his claim , he lost all idea

here we go again , first queally now hills , you obviously know better than the multi million pound maktoum empire ,

and for the record 50% of R Hills mounts make the first three ,consistently good stats for years

And how many are priced to be hard not to finish out of top 3 ??
He is a poor jockey ( and i lay his horses for fun , because some people rate him ) and long may it continue
Report hello :-) April 28, 2010 7:25 PM BST
Do you place lay them also
Report macca007 April 28, 2010 7:27 PM BST
over 6 to 1 yes , under 2 to1 lay the win . Puts me in front
Report blackbarn April 28, 2010 11:35 PM BST
Macca - your stated staking plan gained you what ROI last season?, or just straight profit if easier. Dont spend a lot of time on it, just ballpark figures will do.

nb - if it helps laying RH last season was an unmitigated disaster, even if you were very very selective which given your rating of him you presumably were not.
Report dukeofpuke April 29, 2010 12:26 AM BST
thanks for that

my opinion of him is he's rubbish

and i never back him and then again never lay agains him

so best thing is dont back/lay in races he's in

unless you know better
Report ringlets April 29, 2010 12:39 AM BST
His brother is better, IMHO,at least he seems to persevere with horses,RH seems to just want to win without any undue exertion, unless its a big race.Must say he wouldn't ride anywhere near as many winners if he wasn't retained by his present boss MAM,
