Anyone who's as old as me has never had it so good- We used to pay £50 a day to go to the races travel and exe's - had betting tax to contend with.We scraped a living- punting on course against some good judges. our study was done by the form book- timeform black book and memory. No tv coverage or replays. If you made it pay then you were very good !!! -ITS EASY NOW COME ON LADS WERE LIVING A DREAM - WOULD YOU AGREE?

The only thing that annoys me these days about the game is that it is just too easy..I sometimes just heavily punt no hopers,just to make it less easy when for when i punt properly..

The only major problem punters face today, is the " losers only" policy of bookmakers. Closed and restricted accounts are a nightmare.
technology has made it alot easier to judge the form, but it still wont turn a bad judge into a good judge.

I agree. It is very easy to get the winners nowadays. For examlpe, the next race is easy. Dromore to win by a length and a half.

Mike tell em lad- the games easy - tody -thts why the bookmakers are going skint- years ago there was a saying for clued up punters- the more u have the longer u will last. we were on bread and dripping every 2 weeks
well in my youth there were 4 or 5 made a good living -- the rest would have been better off delivering milk
