i seem to remember a horse ( may have been polar ben ) about 4 years or so ago that wore those colours and had to be put first on the line or would pull itself up

I suspect I may have got my multiple-coloured sashes mixed up. Two sets of lovely, pretty colours that would sadly not be allowed today.

I wrote a letter about it to The Sporting Life at the time, onlooker. In those days I gave a sh1t about such things.

I do fear that these two sets of colours are slightly different, though.

what was that really good 2yo he had one year...

Struggled to remember Norton, but got there in the end.

correct, again, dizzee - horse went to Les Eyre afterwards.
