i seem to remember a horse ( may have been polar ben ) about 4 years or so ago that wore those colours and had to be put first on the line or would pull itself up

The most outrageous disqualification from winning the Magnet Cup, ever. Got the race back on appeal, the following Friday. Obviously, I didn't get paid out, though. :( |

I suspect I may have got my multiple-coloured sashes mixed up. Two sets of lovely, pretty colours that would sadly not be allowed today.
