Report RyanWe April 27, 2010 9:36 PM BST
Yeah.. the way all the horses are working we are going to have 10 horses finish in a deadheat!
Report Roger De Bris April 27, 2010 9:44 PM BST
Killer Instinct had Group 1 horses for breakfast on the gallops....
Report Cream Of The Crop April 27, 2010 9:52 PM BST
^ :^0

One of the most over-hyped horses - ever!!
Report Roger De Bris April 27, 2010 9:54 PM BST
I think a book should be written on Killer Instinct and details of every one of his gallops put on paper.
Report Long Run's To Glory April 27, 2010 10:14 PM BST
They are VERY BULLISH about this horses chances
Report Cream Of The Crop April 27, 2010 10:16 PM BST
I'd like to find one trainer, stable lad/lass, owner etc. who isn't bullish going into a race like the Guineas to be honest. It's like hearing people say 'he's been laid out for this' when talking about something the Wokingham Handicap when it's painfully obvious 95% of the field have been laid out for the race, yet the 'experts' still roll out the same old cliche year after year. :_|
Report Long Run's To Glory April 27, 2010 10:19 PM BST
Its about working out when to listen..
Report jon b April 27, 2010 10:21 PM BST
is killer instinct running this weekend ? cant find it in beting
Report Cream Of The Crop April 27, 2010 10:28 PM BST
Yes mate, left Twice Over 25 lengths behind carrying 3 stone extra - apparently, he even managed to catch a pigeon at the end of the gallops! It is all systems go for the 2000 Guineas! :P
Report TD_Gunner April 27, 2010 10:42 PM BST
i heard he actually carried Twice Over on his back in the gallop whilst sailing 35 lengths past Midday, who didn't even have a workrider on.
Report breadnbutter April 27, 2010 10:43 PM BST
hcp,s are diff ..being laid out all season means its never been off a yard imo ....
Report jon b April 27, 2010 10:49 PM BST
looked at cecil entrys 4 next 5 days and cant see it
Report TD_Gunner April 27, 2010 10:51 PM BST
does anywon remember Amaakin??

was meant to be better than Authorized (same connections) and 10/1 for the Guineas before it had raced!

was absolutely woeful when he actually raced as a 3 year old.
Report Zitadelle April 27, 2010 10:52 PM BST
No he's being laid out for a big handicap at York and will be backed as if defeat is out of the question - start loading the wheelbarrow now.
Report ben10 April 27, 2010 10:52 PM BST
Chapple-Hyam is shocking for hyping his horses :D
Report jon b April 27, 2010 10:53 PM BST
whens that roughly
Report TD_Gunner April 27, 2010 10:53 PM BST

Report Zitadelle April 27, 2010 10:55 PM BST
The John Smith Magnet Cup whenever that's on.l
Report ben10 April 27, 2010 10:57 PM BST
Yeah, they were raving about him at 2, it's a weird game sometimes!
Report TD_Gunner April 27, 2010 10:58 PM BST
drifted from 13-8 to 4-1 in the Wood Ditton! was a non runner in the end :D
Report jon b April 27, 2010 10:58 PM BST
thanks anyone got connection on here with that yard?
Report Cream Of The Crop April 27, 2010 11:00 PM BST
Greek Well (Stoute) and Pescatorio (O'Brien) two more hype jobs who didn't quite live up to expecations! However, it must be stressed that it was more gallops gossip rather than their respective trainers who hyped them beyond belief - I think I am right in saying GW was lame when the gamble on him for the Derby began! :^0 And then O'Brien came out with something like 'Pescatorio hasn't been on the grass yet' when asked about him after he was backed into something like 20/1 for the 2000 Guineas a few years back! :0
Report Zitadelle April 27, 2010 11:04 PM BST
jon b, it will easily win a small race at somewhere like Nottingham just as a warm up, make sure you get on then at antepost odds as the odds will collapse on the day - trust me on this.
Report jon b April 27, 2010 11:08 PM BST
will do i like cecil yard do u have any info from yard about some of his other horses as well
Report Zitadelle April 27, 2010 11:14 PM BST
I don't but keep an eye out for a colt called Snaafi Dancer trained I think by John Dunlop - it cost a serious amount of money and is burning up the gallops!
Report jon b April 27, 2010 11:16 PM BST
ok thanks . will do
Report Kingmambo April 27, 2010 11:17 PM BST
While I can confirm that Killer Instinct is working like the second coming, I have to tell you that they have an even better one called Touch N Fly. Keep your eyes peeled.
Report jon b April 27, 2010 11:22 PM BST
cant find anything on snaafi dancer at all
Report jon b April 27, 2010 11:22 PM BST
ta kingmambo will do
Report Cream Of The Crop April 27, 2010 11:36 PM BST
Curtain Time coming along nicely for the Derby, whilst Western Verse is the Coventry winner this year judging by his home work. Looks like Cecil is in for a good year! ;)
