8/10 over 12f flat followed by 8/12 on debut over hurdles. Then it beats the P Nicholls inexperienced (but over rated as usual) St Killians Run (so good it is now with Peter Monteith ffs). Ajzal gets a rating of 123.
Chase career begins with a UR 4th fence in a Novice, before a PU off 123 in a Nov Hcap. Dropped 5 and then dropped 8 still see him nearer last than first, and the Handicapper starts to feel embarassed - so he drops him another 10 to 100. Telescope required as he is 80 lengths adrift.
Hoping no one notices their shameful earlier decisions the Handicapper shears off a further 23 spots to a mark of 77 - 46lbs below their initial assessment !!!!!
Scrapping it out in a field of dodgepots he crashes at the last when booked for 2nd leaving AbbeyDore to win back to back races and the lucky runner up 10yo Glimmer of Light bolts gets dropped 2 and bolts up in a selling chase next time out.
Miffed at such spectacles - the Handicapper RAISES poor old Ajzal 6lbs for his final fence crash. Oh dear :(
All in all if ever connections deserved a win this may be it, but you can't say he is well handicapped. I certainly wont be rushing.
Best of British today.
PS Mr Handicapper - GET IT RIGHT UP YOU - SIDEWAYS
I forgot to hammer it today when it was on the bridle and in front down the far side. It's in the notebook now though thanks. Hopefully the handicapper will drop him back down 6lbs for that and he'll win next time.
