what 5/1 or 12/1 etc meant ?!

Because that's what the bloke on telly was basically saying was the reason for introducing decimal odds.

Are the public really that daft not to understand what 2/1 or even money means ?!

Hello mate,

can't do it and on top of everything else, my parents will be coming over the next few weeks and I am going to be busy with carting them around and stuff, terrible timing by them but I suppose they are getting old and I shouldn't complain !
